This button, which sits innocently enough at the top of your email composition form, is essentially an information nuke. It's use should only be attempted by the most adept of the digerati and therefore its very presence is a public nuisance/hazard.
This feature needs to be under one of those plastic switches that one must lift before being able to depress and release it's awesome power. I've witnessed it's spectrum, from the simple LaRosa to the silent but deadly McCarthy.
I was a guest blogger at The Great Amsterdam Adventure, reporting on a Rembrandt show i had seen recently at the Getty... Follow the link to read. Also, if you're planning on visiting the Netherland's, it's full of good info. You know what, even if you're not planning on visiting (which you should be, btw) you should probably read the blog.
So, I've gotten a lot of questions from my readers, "Vector, how do you stay in SUCH good shape?" I have one..um.. word (?) P90X. I'm just finishing up week two and im sore as hell...but i feel awake! You know what, i hate sports i've decided. I just dont care about them. My job is not particularly physical, in fact, it's completely mental--but Tony Horton and his incredibly well designed P90X system has made taking care of the machine-that-is-my-body enjoyable, nay, fun. Im a sucker for extremes and this dude IS extremely funny.
How can you argue with that? Okay, so maybe the pizza and beer I ate last night wasn't on the plan, but Tony would understand. He seems like a reasonable guy. If you, reader, still feel gross about eating christmas cookies for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the month of december...If you feel like you've been forced into hibernation due to the cold weather and extra insulation...You might want to try this. Last year at this time, my friends and I tried a winter fast...this is way better and way more fun.
Numbers are for more than just counting. They have meaning, i think. i mean...i have associations with each number, each one has a personality and every equation is a story. It's probably why math has always been so difficult for me. for example 1+1=2 is the story of two strong completely independent characters who eventually come to respect each other and maybe even become neighbors. (Little do they know that 3 is just around the corner--and he's odd).
